Get to know Code Seed

Code Seed is a human-centralized software company based in Greece. You can find our headquarters in Thessaloniki and Drama (if you are interesting in working in-house). Our employees are all over the country and we love it! It’s so cool to meet people from different places and share experiences.

What are our core elements? Honesty, wisdom and capability are key items in our everyday work life. We are a consistent company without any unpleasant surprises. A company consisting by people that like to work because they love their occupation. These are the values that make us stand out from the galleons that exist in Greece. Our values make us stronger.

Respect is the key for someone to have fun at work and like their colleagues. It means equality which is the reason that we only hire people who see no difference in color, religion, sex or sexual orientation. After all, we are a team working to make nice products for the world and the world is full of colors and aromas. Teamwork means communication and support, as a team we bond together, we help each other, we become friends. Anything in the world can inspire us, anything can motivate us to grow even further!

Meet each one of us.

Get to know the people behind the code who are responsible of our excellent quality.
The people you might be working with on your next project.

Thanasis Papapanagiotou

Managing Director / Software Engineer

I am the one that had this - questionable - idea of putting all these people together and form a company. The results are amazing and I am having quite some fun working as a developer in the great environment that I created, not only for me but for my colleagues as well. I enjoy coding as much as I enjoy living. Problem identification and solutions is my strong card in this never-ending poker of scrum points. Finally I am the one that puts keyboards on fire, but also the one that extinguishes them.

Nikos Kalaitzis

Engineering Manager

I used to be a creative web developer, specialized on back-end, without fearing to deal with front-end when needed. Then, my path lead me to new adventures. Now I am more into management than coding. As an operation manager, the essence of my job is still pretty much the same, as I have to find optimal solutions on challenges regarding people rather than code. I really like working with people and I give my best to build a personal relationship with every single one of them. At the end of the day, we are just a branch of people hanging out together, trying to achieve the same goal.

Georgia Goula

Office Manager

I’m the office manager; the one who makes sure everything runs smoothly. I enjoy calmness and orderliness and if someone ruins any of it I get enraged. As I’m a worshipper of tea, you’ll probably find me walking around holding my cup all day long.

Eleni Palousi

I am a software tester always keen in learning new things and improving my skills. I believe there is always room for growth. I enjoy solving problems in the most efficient and fast way. I love working in a team and helping others in any way.

Tasos Chrisalidis

QA Engineer

Technology for me started as a hobby, continued as studies, to end up as work. I always believe that a coin has two sides, hence sharing of perspective is something really important.

Kostas Sfounis

QA Engineer

Despite my main responsibilities I water Lefteris' plant because he always forgets it, I do my best to destroy Georgia's calmness, stopping Thanasis to clean his keyboard with the fire extinguisher and also stopping Giannis to put his finger in the power socket in order to light the light bulb. I am holding my screen like this because we didn't have a mirror. Your argument is invalid. What? No? Other than that I destroy stuff with the excuse of ``testing``.

Giannis Dermetzoglou

Software Engineer

I am a back-end web developer having knowledge of the Symfony PHP framework and some experience working in the front-end. Machine learning and big data analytics are also areas of technology that interest me. I take pride in my attention to detail, as well as focusing on the quality of my work. I enjoy being challenged, learning and acquiring new skills.

I am a quality assurance engineer, trying always to ensure that everything works fine. Having a keen eye allows me to find things that are not obvious at first. Bug hunting is just a great pleasure for me.

Arsenia Tsiantou

QA Engineer

I am a quality assurance engineer with little experience in design and web development. I like to run complicated test scenarios and find bugs where no one expects them.

Giannis Argyriou

Software Engineer

Hey! I am the ``Dutch John``, which arose by chance as a nickname in order to be distinguished by the 5 (! :S) Johns in the company. I am currently working as Front-End developer, but I really like calling myself a Full-Stack, because I also have some experience in BE. At some point I also happened to work as an automated tester which piqued my interest a lot, and since then I try to improve and contribute my QA skills to work whenever I can. Out of work, I love hanging out with friends for fun, watching series or movies, playing video games and learning new technologies. ✌🏻

Giannis Mourouzidis

PHP / Magento Developer

I am a happy PHP / Magento Developer. I like to build new functions making administrators' life easier and more productive or customers' experience better. I also like fixing or breaking things, fortunately not in that particular order and hopefully to learn something new in the process. I strongly believe that this is the best way to acquire knowledge and that's why I love working with testers. In my free time I like roadtrrips, watching movies, playing piano and also tinkering with Python for Computer Vision, Internet of Things and Machine Learning with Tensorflow. I love working remotely and I worship working with agile scrum.

Elissavet Ntevetzaki

QA Engineer

I am a quality assurance engineer and I like testing systems by thinking how could a user destroy them. I also enjoy being a part of a team which works together in a friendly environment.

George Trigonakis

Software Engineer

Web Developer by trade, but a universal Developer at heart. Code is music in my eyes. Learning new things and taking on new challenges drives me to become a better person and a better professional. Meeting new people and learning from them is one way to do this. After all, life is an adventure and all that matters is the journey.

Theodora Kalaintzi Nanousi

As an active member of Code Seed's team, I solve all the non programming issues that my colleagues may have. I am the unofficial psychologist, lawyer, peace maker, talent seeker, and entertainer of Code Seed. Someone could say I'm in HR. I am for sure and I am really enjoying it! I have never imagined that working in the IT field could be that fun! *Plus, these amazing people taught me how to solve the Rubik's Cube 😉

Evgenia Papadopoulou
